In 2019 Polish Government allocates PLN 1 billion 350 million for the development of higher education

The government will allocate PLN 1 billion 350 million in 2019 for the development of higher education, – said Jarosław Gowin, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education, during a press conference at the State College of Information Technology and Entrepreneurship in Łomża.

As emphasized Deputy Prime Minister Gowin, “the development of our universities means the development of Poland.”

He added that he is convinced that good times are coming for higher education. “Both statutory solutions and some additional mechanisms for financial growth will be vital next year and they will provide the growth in the future. All this ensures the development of Polish universities and also the development of Poland,” said Gowin.

During the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Gowin thanked the Rector of the Łomża University, Dr. Dariusz Surowik for active and substantive participation in consultations on the new act.
