The Information Refining Center, commissioned by the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR), will develop a solution for acquiring and analyzing large amounts of data from sources concerning global and Polish trends in research, development and innovation.

Effective programming of support for R & D and innovation activities should be based on reliable and, above all, up-to-date data that allow identifying and forecasting technological trends – says Dr Aleksander Żołnierski from NCRD.

That is why NCBR decided to implement mechanisms to monitor technological trends. Ultimately, accurate identification of the current situation in the area of research and development and innovation will allow to improve the NCBR offer.

The NCBR entrusted the implementation of this project to the Information Refining Center, the first human-social spin-off company established at the University of Warsaw.
