Artificial bone patented by Prof. Grażyna Ginalska and Dr Anna Belcarz from the Medical University of Lublin has a chance to reach foreign markets. The Medical Inventi company shared by the authors of the invention plans to get the CE mark this year. Obtaining this mark will allow to sell the composite materials around the world.

Researchers from the Lublin Medical University cooperate with the Lublin University of Technology in the field of launching a technological line that will enable the production of composite on a larger scale.

Five patients have already learned about the advantages of artificial bone. Dr Adam Nogalski, head of the Clinic of Traumatology and Emergency Medicine at the Independent Public Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Lublin treated them successfully when other centers failed. Thanks to the composite, the patients turned fit again with no side effects.
