The World Economy Institute of the Warsaw School of Economics is organizing an international scientific conference on innovation and competitiveness. This year, on June 15, participants of the event will try to answer the question how cities can contribute to a competitive advantage in the modern global economy.
The conference will analyze the theoretical and practical aspects of international competitiveness and urbanization, including the concepts of metropolitan innovation systems, smart cities, internationalization and cultural diversity. The results of research on the competitive position of selected economies, successful urbanization patterns and the development trends of the largest cities in Poland and in the world will be discussed.
