The international scientific conference “Social Economy 2022: Social Entrepreneurship and the Challenges of a Closed Circuit Economy” is the next conference organised annually by the Department of Economics and Economic Policy and the Department of Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation of the Pedagogical University of Kraków in cooperation with national and foreign scientific institutions. The event will take place on 20-21 October 2022.

The conference aims to discuss and analyse contemporary theoretical and empirical issues relating to social economics and social entrepreneurship, particularly with regard to their role in terms of the circular economy.

Conference topics will include: Social economics and social entrepreneurship versus the circular economy; Engaging social economy actors to reduce the negative effects of climate change; Innovation, including green innovation, in social entrepreneurship.
