The Faculty of Geographical Sciences of the University of Łódź (UŁ), together with the international project SPOT – Sustainable Spatial Planning of Tourism Destrinations, and the Portuguese research organisation CiTUR – Centro de Investigação, Desenvolvimento e Inovação em Turismo, is organising the International Tourism Congress ITC2022 on 17-19 November 2022. 

The international event, which will take place in Łódź, is held under the patronage of the Polish Geographical Society. Partners of the event are the Baltic University Programme and the Lodz Tourism Organisation.

The International Tourism Congress ITC2022 is the main event presenting the achievements of the SPOT – Sustainable Spatial Planning of Tourism Destrinations project. The congress will include a special session to present the results of researchers and students’ work on sustainable spatial planning and sustainable tourism development in selected European destinations.
