Applications are being accepted until 25 September for the International Choral Conducting Tournament ‘IN THE FACE OF POLYFONIA’, which will take place from 15 to 18 December. The organiser of the competition, for the ninth time, is the Academy of Music in Wrocław. 

As in previous tournaments, 16 of the most talented young choirmasters from Polish and foreign music centres will come to Wrocław, to be selected through competition eliminations”.

Tournament participants will work with renowned Wrocław choirs – the Choir of the National Forum of Music, choirs of the Wrocław Academy of Music: The Feichtinum Choir, the “Senza Rigore” Chamber Choir, as well as the “Rondo” Vocal Ensemble and the Chamber Choir of the Academy of Music in Poznań. Their work will be judged by an international jury, to which prominent choirmasters from Germany, Lithuania, Latvia and Poland have been invited.
