The development of a system to optimise logistics processes based on Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and artificial intelligence is the main objective of a project jointly implemented by the Krakow University of Technology (PK) and SKK S.A.

The project received funding from the National Centre for Research and Development as part of the ‘Fast Track – Digital Innovations’ competition, aimed at entities planning to implement research and development projects in the field of cyber security, industrial digitalisation and digital creative technologies.

The main objective of the project, implemented by a consortium with the participation of PK, is to develop a system for optimising logistics processes based on Internet of Things technologies and artificial intelligence, using sensors to measure environmental conditions.

Funding for the project (estimated at over PLN 6.5 million) amounts to almost PLN 5.2 million, of which the Krakow University of Technology will receive almost PLN 1.8 million.
