The invention of scientists from the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz was distinguished during the international innovation competition International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada iCAN 2020.

The invention “Development of technology for creating polyurethane breast prosthesis based on 3D scanning and 3D printing” won a gold medal and a special award in Canada.

The authors of the awarded invention are Zbigniew Szczepański (Faculty of Mechatronics), Dr Eng. Marek Macko, (Faculty of Mechatronics), Dr Eng. Dariusz Mikołajewski, (Institute of Computer Science) and Joanna Nowak (Faculty of Mechatronics).
