Jagiellonian University becomes the best Faculty of Law in Poland

The 16th Law Faculties Ranking, organized by the editors of “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”, was completed. Among public universities, the first place was taken by the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. The University of Warsaw and the University of Wrocław took second ex aequo place. The third place was taken by the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań.

This year, a maximum of 117 points could be obtained in the following categories: staff (max. 29 points), quality and conditions of education (max. 47.5 points), requirements for students and quality of graduates (max. 30.5 points) and 10 points for passing rate for legal applications. The Jagiellonian University won a total of 104.1 points.

“At the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University, we are currently working on a comprehensive reform of the law studies programs. It is based on assumptions that take into account the assumed profile of our graduate functioning in a specific social and civilization environment in the times of globalization and the development of new technologies, the need for internationalization of the education process and interdisciplinarity in the approach to legal education”, said the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Jerzy Pisuliński.
