The Jagiellonian University in Krakow signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Panama. The document was signed by the Rector’s Plenipotentiary of the Jagiellonian University for internationalization Prof. Adam Jelonek and the rector of the Panamanian University Prof. Eduardo Flores.

According to the Krakow University, the document stipulates that both universities will undertake activities aimed at facilitating and intensifying cooperation in the field of scientific research as well as teaching and transferring knowledge in the fields of biology, biotechnology and environmental protection.

Joint activities may take the form of developing bilateral education and research programs; exchange of lecturers, students, PhD students, administrative and technical employees; promotion of scientific activity and the implementation of research projects.
