The results of the 12th ranking of The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) have been announced. The highest ranked universities from Poland include: Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Warsaw University and AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.
The Center for World University Rankings 2023 includes more than 2,000 universities from around the world out of more than 20,500 that were assessed. The list traditionally opens with universities from the United States: Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University.
This year, 40 Polish academic centres were included in the ranking. Jagiellonian University was ranked 383rd, Warsaw University 409th and the AGH University of Science and Technology 602nd. Other Polish centres in the ranking are Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (670th), Warsaw University of Technology (723rd), Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (815th), National Centre for Nuclear Research (819th), University of Wrocław (870th), Warsaw Medical University (896th) and Medical University of Wrocław (899th).
