The Jan Długosz University of Humanities and Sciences in Częstochowa has become a partner in the Silver Grow project. The coordinator of activities is the Voivodeship Labour Office in Katowice, and the consortium includes training organisations from Bulgaria, Finland, Germany, Poland and Slovenia.
The aims of the project are to develop a comprehensive service model for older workers to support their potential in the labour market, promote lifelong guidance and counselling dedicated to older workers and improve the knowledge and competences of career counsellors, employers and employees in new counselling methods based on a constructivist approach.
The project implementers also announce the creation of a “rapid response path” for seniors in companies, using benchmarking of tools supporting active ageing in companies, practical exercises, scenarios, a diagnosis of the situation of older workers, an interactive course and local workshops.
