“Environmentally safe energy is either renewable energy or nuclear energy. In order to build a nuclear energy sector in Poland, people with solid education are needed”, said Prof Alojzy Z. Nowak, rector of the University of Warsaw (UW).

The aim of the agreement signed between the UW and the Polish Nuclear Power Plants (PEJ) company is to develop personnel potential in the nuclear power sector in Poland. The agreement will allow students and graduates who want to associate their professional life with the nuclear industry to acquire knowledge in this field and develop practical skills.

According to the signed agreement, the PEJ company will prepare recommendations in terms of teaching content. In this way, future students and graduates in nuclear-related fields are expected to acquire the knowledge and skills desired in this sector.
