Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce takes over the Wszechnica Świętokrzyska Higher School

Prof. Stanisław Głuszek, the rector of the Jan Kochanowski University (UJK) and Prof. Mieczysław Adamczyk, the rector of Wszechnica Świętokrzyska in Kielce, signed a letter of intent under which the UJK in Kielce will take over the assets and the building of the Wszechnica Świętokrzyska Higher School.

The Jan Kochanowski University is also ready to take over MA students in the pedagogy. They will be able to continue their studies in the appropriate year of Master’s studies at the university. The Memorial Room is to be a memento of the Świętokrzyska University, where memorabilia from over 25 years of history of the university will be collected. UJK will also take over the archives of the Wszechnica Świętokrzyska.

The Higher School Wszechnica Świętokrzyska was established in 1994 as a non-state higher school on the initiative of the People’s Scientific and Cultural Society.
