Jarosław Gowin to develop detailed recommendations for Polish universities in terms of coronavirus

11.03.2020

Talking about suspending classes is premature, but it is important for high schools and universities to prepare for such an eventuality, first of all replacing stationary classes with online classes. Some universities are well prepared for this – said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin.

The deputy prime minister said that any eventuality must be taken into account. For over a week, a special team has been operating, which includes both representatives of the ministry, headed by the doctor Wojciech Maksymowicz, as well as representatives of the academic community – said the head of the Ministry of Science.

-We are developing recommendations for universities; I will definitely recommend universities to suspend exchanges under the Erasmus program. I will propose detailed solutions this week, – said Deputy Prime Minister Gowin.
