The Kalisz Academy has become a member of a scientific consortium with the participation of the world’s best scientific institutes and universities. The consortium will cooperate in the conduct of scientific research and, in time, in the training of doctoral students in medical sciences and medicine.
In addition to the Kalisz Academy, the consortium consists of the National Institute for Bioprocess Research and Training in Dublin; the Universities of Galway and Maynooth (Ireland), Naples (Italy), Münster, Munich (Germany), Granada (Spain), Porto (Portugal), Maastricht and Utrecht (the Netherlands), Tartu (Estonia) and Karolinska Institutes in Stockholm (Sweden).
Plans for close cooperation are very ambitious and include the establishment of a Polish-Swedish doctoral school in some time. Doctoral students from Poland and Sweden would conduct joint research, which would be published under the supervision of professors working scientifically at both research institutions.
