Students of the Kalisz Academy can already use a procedural simulator that allows them to perform simple maintenance operations of the Mi-8 helicopter and the M28 Bryza aircraft in virtual reality. The device was brought to Kalisz thanks to cooperation with the Air Force Institute of Technology.

The simulator was brought to the Institute – Gear Wheel Research Excellence Center, where the Practical Training Center is being established. in which virtual reality technology will be used.

Virtual reality technology, known for its wide use in entertainment, is also used in medicine, art, engineering, architecture, etc. It can also be used for practical education, especially when it is expensive or particularly dangerous.

The intention of the originators of the Practical Training Center is to cover the areas of mechanical engineering, emergency medical services and security within the scope of the Center’s activities.
