Koszalin University of Technology to receive EU money for research projects

10.10.2019

The Rapid Prototyping Center and the Center for Measuring Physical and Mechanical Properties of Wood Materials will be created at the Koszalin University of Technology. Both projects are co-financed from the Regional Operational Program of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The Center for Measuring Physical and Mechanical Properties of Materials will be created at the branch of the Koszalin University of Technology in Szczecinek. The center will gain infrastructure that will complement the equipment base used to carry out research expanding the implementation offer for the modern industry of the region.

The Rapid Prototyping Center is a project implemented at the mechanical faculty of the university. It will be a modern research and implementation center, enabling research in the field of incremental techniques, modeling and simulation of deformation mechanisms and processes, comprehensive strength tests and reverse engineering using a 3D laser scanner.
