Students of Kozminski University (ALK) in Warsaw from the Master in Management programme Dawid Pasternak, Aleksander Szczupak and Pascal Żurek, took first place in the 18th EY Financial Challenger. Out of more than 1,000 participants, they won the main prize of PLN 35,000 and career offers at EY.

EY Financial Challenger is the most prestigious competition organised by EY Poland with the participation of EY-Parthenon. It deals with real-life examples from the M&A field, where students take on the role of transaction advisors. In addition to a thorough analysis of financial data, the competition requires participants to clearly communicate their vision and argue their position.

“Thanks to the knowledge gained at Kozminski University through practice-oriented teaching and our individual professional experiences, we were able to solve the problems set before us. We are proud to have been able to show how acquired theoretical knowledge, strong teamwork and practical experience can be turned into success”, said Dawid Pasternak, team member and ALK student.
