The Center for Interdisciplinary Research of the Kozminski University in Warsaw is inviting participants to a webinar “The rule of law and development” that will be held on March 15 (Monday) at 5:00 p.m.

During the webinar, professors: Andrzej K. Koźmiński, Grzegorz W. Kołodko, Krzysztof Zagórski, Jan Barcz, and Dariusz Jemielniak will discuss the impact of the quality of governance on social and economic development.

Researchers from Kozminski University conducted research on the Balanced Development Index BDI based on empirical and statistics, the results of which show fluctuations in socio-economic policy.

Another parameter considered in this respect is the Worldwide Governance Index (WGI),which allows to monitor the functioning of governments in the world and their quality.

During the March meeting, KU experts will consider the correlations between the quality of governance and the condition of society – bringing the theoretical aspect extended to the empirical perspective in the debate.
