Krakow University of Economics (UEK) received PLN 90 million for implementation of development-oriented investments. Dr Anna Budzanowska, deputy minister of science and higher education handed a symbolic check to the university authorities.

-I am very pleased that in the jubilee year we fulfilled the promises of support given to the university. Undoubtedly, 95 years of the university’s history has become a huge resource to the whole country, not only Krakow or region of the Lesser Poland. I am happy that I will be able to offer this check today – said Deputy Minister Budzanowska.

Jarosław Gowin, former head of the Ministry of Science, participated in the meeting with the UEK authorities and said that “due to the crisis of the global economy during the pandemic, we must decide on a new development strategy that will be based on supporting Polish companies, and also looking for niches, where we – Poles can be competitive in the world.”
