The Institute of Rail Vehicles of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Krakow University of Technology concluded with the Małopolska Branch of the company “Przewozy Regionalne” – POLREGIO agreement on cooperation in the field of didactics and research.

Thanks to the signed agreement, students of the innovative dual specialty of rail vehicle engineering can learn more about the construction and operation of trains with the possibility of participating in train driver’s work.

The specialty Rail Vehicle Engineering was launched in 2017 and is carried out in the dual system of the courses Transport and Engineering of transport. It is a response to the dynamically developing rail vehicle construction sector and the resulting demand for qualified engineering staff in this industry.
