The Innovative Machining Technologies Laboratory has been opened at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology of the Poznan University of Life Sciences. This is a modern educational and research space, equipped with the most up-to-date woodworking technologies available on the market.
This groundbreaking venture will enable students, researchers, and entrepreneurs to gain unique experience. The equipment in the Laboratory is worth almost €1 million and will be replaced on an ongoing basis with the latest models, providing users with access to state-of-the-art technological solutions.
The laboratory is equipped with machine tools, equipment and tools for processing wood and wood-based plastics from world leaders in their production. The machines are characterised by a high degree of automation, numerical control and adaptation to the latest digitalisation standards associated with Industry 4.0.
