The construction of one of the most modern clinical, teaching and research centres in our part of Europe has begun in Szczecin. The project, which is being carried out by the Pomeranian Medical University (PUM) in Szczecin, will support research and teaching facilities and create a base for the team of outpatient clinics at the PUM’s Independent Public Clinical Hospital No. 1.
The building, together with the technical infrastructure and landscaping, will be built at Unia Lubelska Street in Szczecin, opposite the SPSK-1 clinical hospital of the PUM. The investment is being developed under the ‘design and build’ formula. As agreed, its implementation will take 33 months.
The total usable area of the building will be approximately 49,000 m². It will house 16 clinical and teaching units, including the Centre for Translational Medicine and the Collegium Pharmaceuticum. There will be 49 teaching and lecture rooms, including an auditorium with over 400 seats, as well as laboratories, patient clinics and an underground car park.
