Law Clinic at the University of Opole rated second in the ranking of “Rzeczpospolita”

22.07.2021

University Student Legal Clinic – the Law Clinic of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Opole took second place in the ranking of student legal clinics of the Rzeczpospolita daily. It was awarded for its activity during the pandemic in the 2019/2020 academic year.

Reports on the clinic’s activities are sent every six months to the Foundation of University Legal Clinics (FUPP). On their basis, the foundation and “Rzeczpospolita” are creating rankings that evaluate the activities of the clinic.

– Law clinics have been operating in Poland for almost 25 years. During this time, over 24,000 graduates of the student legal clinics program became law students. Today, no dean or even a rector has any doubts that the activity of student legal counselling offices is important for social reasons. This idea has also become a synonym of modern law teaching and is desirable at every university that educates law – says Filip Czernicki, president of FUPP.
