Collegium Civitas lecturers in Warsaw will give lectures and take part in festival discussions at the Academy of Fine Arts during Pol’and’Rock Festival 2019 in Kostrzyn on the Oder in the tent of the Ombudsman on the 1st and 2nd of August 2019.

During the lecture “Escape from Democracy” Dr Roland Zarzycki will attempt to answer the following questions: What mechanisms decide about the fact that we lose faith in the possibility of influence and change? What is the future of the democracies in which we live and who decides about this future?

Dr Adam Zemełka will try to attract listeners with the topic “The emotional life of the brain” and Dr Paweł Maranowski will give a lecture “Are exit polls false?”
