The Lodz University of Technology (PŁ) and the City of Lodz Office (UMŁ) have signed a letter of intent regarding cooperation aimed at recognizing and reducing noise in Łódź.

The idea of initiating joint activities is the result of the arrangements and cooperation of employees of the Department of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and the Faculty of Management and Production Engineering of the Lodz University of Technology, which operates a laboratory – LabNOISE,

accredited at the Polish Center for Accreditation. The laboratory deals with research, identification and analysis as well as noise reduction methods of environmental, industrial, communication or installation origin.
