Veolia Energia Łódź, Aqua Park Łódź, Technical University of Lodz, the Institute of Economy of Mineral Resources and Energy of the Polish Academy of Sciences launched the Łódź Cluster Fala Energii (Wave of Energy).

The Łódź Energy Fala Energii was initiated to ensure local energy security, improve the natural environment and increase the competitiveness and economic efficiency of the local economy.

The main goal of the undertaking is close cooperation of cluster members in the area of renewable energy development. The cluster is to develop geothermal sources, photovoltaic and cogeneration sources as well as effective distribution of generated energy through existing systems.

Cooperation with scientific and research and development institutions is to foster the stimulation of innovation in the field of generation, distribution, balancing and energy storage.
