On September 20 and 21, the Department of Demography and Gerontology of Social University of Lodz organizes “Łódź Days of Gerontology”, which will be devoted to the causes, processes and consequences for aging population.

The intention of the organizers is to focus on the following issues: the demographic aging process of the population, with particular emphasis on territorial diversity; aging population and demographic, economic and social security; health, living conditions and quality of life for seniors; tasks of social policy implemented at various levels for elderly people; situation of older people in the labor market.

The organizers intend to issue the reports, evaluated by external reviewers in the journal “Acta Universitatis Lodziensis. Folia Oeconomica”.
