Małopolska Researchers’ Night

Over a thousand experiments, workshops and demonstrations will be performed during the 12th Małopolska Researchers’ Night, which will take place on 28 September 2018.

Meetings with science are planned in 8 cities and towns of the region: Kraków, Nowy Sącz, Tarnów, Oswięcim, Andrychów, Chrzanów, Niepołomice and Skawina. Their goal is to popularize science among the inhabitants of Małopolska, to familiarize children and young people with the profession of scientist, and to encourage young people to choose a career in science.

The Małopolska Researchers’ Night is part of the European Researchers’ Night. In 2017, the event was organized in 342 European cities, and was attended by over one million people.
