Students of the Lodz University of Technology will design costumes for the service officers of the Polish Pavilion at the EXPO 2020 exhibition in Dubai, which due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has been postponed by one year and will take place between October 1, 2021 and March 30, 2022.

EXPO 2020 in Dubai will be the first World Exhibition organized in an Arab country. It aspires to become the largest show in history, attended by over 200 countries and organizations. The organizers expect 18 million visitors.

Collections of ordered sets of clothes for women and men will be created as part of a competition organized by the Faculty of Materials Technology and Textile Design of the Lodz University of Technology.
