The Institute of Physics of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin, the Lublin Branch of the Polish Physical Society and the Lublin Educational and Scientific Society are inviting participants to the 61st Physics Shows, which will be held on September 8-24, 2021.  

Every September, the Institute of Physics is visited by about 20,000 students
and teachers to participate in Physics Demonstrations – activities promoting and popularizing exact sciences in its experimental form.

The event has the longest, almost 70-year tradition in Poland. Professor Wacław Staszewski was the initiator of the Physics Show, which took place since 1953. The event is addressed mainly to students and teachers, but also at all other people interested in physics.

The program of this year’s shows includes four topics: Acoustics, (in) Atmospheric pressure, Mechanics, and Electromagnetism.
