Lublin to hold Portuguese literary competition

The Portuguese Language Center / Camőes at Maria Curie Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin is inviting participans to take part in the fifth Portuguese literary competition.

The purpose of the competition is to commemorate the 500th anniversary of a sea voyage around the world of sailor Ferdinand Magellan by creating a literary text in Portuguese on travel topics in the form of a chronicle or fictional story.

The competition is directed to people for whom Portuguese is not a native language. It is open, which means that people from all non-Portuguese speaking countries can participate and it is not limited to Polish citizens only.

Works should be sent by November 30, 2019.
