Members of the Union of Lublin Universities: the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin, Lublin University of Technology and University of Life Sciences in Lublin have signed an agreement on educational cooperation.
As part of the agreement, the universities defined the principles of cooperation between the parties in preparation and conducting joint teaching initiatives, including joint studies, joint lectures, training, workshops and webinars.
The Union of Lublin Universities was established at the end of 2017. Its aim is to optimize the use of the resources of universities forming the Association by supporting the implementation of joint tasks, including research and development works, didactics, commercialization of research results and dissemination of the achievements of science, culture and technology.
-Our cooperation program, which we have been trying to implement from the beginning of this term, is resulting in new contracts. The current agreement is concerning cooperation in the field of teaching, (…) but in a moment we will also boast about building good relations and practices in research and international cooperation, implementations and the business-related sphere, as well as cooperation with the external environment – said the UMCS rector, Prof. Radosław Dobrowolski.
