The scientists of the Lublin University of Technology have developed the VR Syntia simulator to train pilots on all types of aircraft and helicopters as well as training drone operators. The simulator was presented in the laboratory of the Center for Innovation and Advanced Technologies PL.

Pilot education supplemented by a simulator is a must in any aviation training. Currently, such training is carried out on physical simulators, which are expensive, complicated and large in size. In addition, there is no possibility of training flights in battle groups or to simulate air combats – says Dr Eng. Jarosław Zubrzycki from the Institute of Technological Information Systems at the Lublin University of Technology.

The effectiveness of VR simulators have been confirmed by the tests. The simulator due to the possibility of programming a large number of functions, advanced graphics, and above all the simulation of load factor that exists on military and aerobatic aircraft, will increase the safety and comfort of flights.
