Lublin University of Technology with EnergoTech Lublin established a Research and Development Center for High Voltage Engineering.

The new center will deal with advanced research on the development and implementation into the power industry of innovative methods of diagnostics and monitoring of medium and high voltage cables and overhead lines as well as switchgear dedicated to these networks.

Employees and students of the Lublin University of Technology will gain new, innovative scientific and educational facilities. In addition to specialized research, the center will also serve students and PhD students to acquire knowledge based on new technologies. – Teaching is very important to us and we want to educate students in accordance with the latest technological achievements – said Prof. Piotr Kacejko, rector of the Lublin University of Technology.
