The Marshal Office of Lubuskie Voivodeship awarded future doctors with scholarships. The condition for receiving the support was a declaration of employment in one of the Lubuskie hospitals for a period equal to the time of the scholarship. In September, the Office will start another call for this program.

Scholarships of 2 thousand PLN monthly were awarded 61 doctors. 16 applications were submitted by students from the University of Zielona Góra, the others came from Poznań (15), Bydgoszcz (5), Szczecin (7), Katowice (2), Lublin (4), Olsztyn (1), Wrocław (5), Łódź (5) and from Rzeszów (1).

To support future doctors, the Marshal’s Office has allocated 900,000 PLN this year. In the next two years, it will amount to one million PLN. The next call for financial aid applications will start on September 1 and will last until October 31. The rules for applying for next support program are the same as for the first call.
