Local Authority of the Lubuskie Region will grant scholarships to students. The purpose of financial support is to equalize educational opportunities and to inspire to take up studies at the high schools of the Province – informs the University of Zielona Góra on its website. Motivational and entrepreneurial scholarships are also planned.

According to the initial assumptions, the motivational scholarship amounts no less than PLN 500 and no more than PLN 1,000 paid for 9 months, the beneficiaries of the entrepreneur’s scholarship will receive a one-off payment of PLN 5,000. The aim is to encourage students to develop and improve the results achieved, as well as to cooperate with entrepreneurs and to stay in the region.

The support will be provided primarily to students of technical, exact, economic and natural sciences as labor market surveys show that there is a need for specialists and managers in the region, particularly in areas related to engineering, machine building, mechanics, electrics and IT.
