Łukasiewicz – the Institute of Aviation has signed an agreement with General Electric (GE) on the extension of strategic cooperation for the next 15 years and the further development of one of the largest technology centers in Europe – the Engineering Design Center.

The Engineering Design Center (EDC) is one of the world’s most famous design offices operating for GE. Its seat is located in Warsaw’s Okęcie, in the area of Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation.

EDC employees implement global projects in three industries: aviation, energy and renewable energy. For over 20 years they have been creating innovative solutions for the industry. Currently, over 1,300 people work in the EDC, of which over 40 percent are employees of Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation.
