Małopolska Voivodeship Deputy Marshal Łukasz Smółka and the Rector of the Krakow University of Technology (PK), Professor Andrzej Białkiewicz, signed an agreement to conduct joint engineering projects, research and teaching programmes in the transport infrastructure of Małopolska.

The agreement concerns cooperation in carrying out scientific research and scientific and technical work on the condition of roads and bridges in Małopolska, substantive supervision by PK experts of the existing and planned road and bridge infrastructure of the region, specialist consultations and joint educational, training and publication activities. 

The cooperation will also include the development of guidelines regarding requirements for future road projects. The agreement signed today refers to the agreement concluded last year on the participation of Małopolska universities, including PK, in the Scientific Council for the Strategic Development of Małopolska.
