On Friday, November 27, the 14th scientists’ night in Małopolska will take place. The entire event will be transferred online, but will be attended by over 600 scientists.
This year’s scientists’ night will be organized under the title: “How do Scientists Change the World”.
Małopolska Night of Scientists is a project, organized by the Małopolskie Voivodeship since 2007 in cooperation with Małopolska universities and research institutes as well as institutions involved in the promotion of science. The project includes preparing and conducting a series of events promoting and presenting the achievements of scientists from Małopolska.
Scientists will present their lectures, experiments, and workshops. For example, the University of Agriculture will present the secrets of bird singing and the mechanism of cancer diseases. At the Geological Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences participants will be able to learn about the structure of the soil and find out what kind of land we walk on, while climbing in the mountains.
