Masovian Public Higher School to educate doctors in the Płock provincial hospital

28.12.2021

Future doctors will be able to study in the provincial hospital in Płock. An agreement in this matter was signed by the Marshal of the Masovian Voivodeship, Adam Struzik, Stanisław Kwiatkowski, director of the provincial hospital in Płock, and Prof. Maciej Słodki, Rector of the Masovian Public University (MUP).

The Masovian Public Higher School in Płock has been involved in the practical vocational training of medical staff for over 20 years. Future graduates of nursing, obstetrics and cosmetology have been studying at the Faculty of Health Sciences. The agreement concluded between the self-government of the Masovian Voivodeship, the Provincial Complex Hospital in Płock and the MUP in Płock is an opportunity to extend the school’s teaching and research and to implement the project “Education of students in the medical faculty”.

The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, signed an amendment to the Law on Higher Education and Science, which allows State Vocational Higher Schools to apply for education in medicine. We will be ready with an application to the Polish Accreditation Committee in the first quarter of next year – announced Prof. Maciej Słodki.
