The Material Research Engineering Laboratory of the University of Zielona Góra, operating as part of the ministerial program “Regional Excellence Initiative”, has been awarded the title of Symbol for Synergy of Science and Business 2020.
Symbol is a nationwide media promotional program of the editorial office of “Monitor Rynkowy” which is distributed with “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” and “Monitor Biznesu” within “Rzeczpospolita” concern. It is an award for companies and institutions that develop innovations, understand the role of prestige in building a strong position in the industry and constantly transform their environment using intelligent mechanisms based on knowledge and competences.
The project “Materials Research Engineering Laboratory” has been implemented for 3 years. It assumed the creation of a modern laboratory that would stimulate the emergence of new joint research areas in material engineering, metallurgy and chemical engineering.
