Dr. Mateusz Sokolski, assistant at the Clinic of Heart Diseases at the Medical University in Wroclaw received a prestigious training grant European Society of Cardiology (ESC), which will allow him to develop knowledge and skills in the field of cardiology in a reputable clinic in Switzerland.

Dr Mateusz Sokolski is one of 11 this year laureates of the ESC grant, and one of the two awarded Poles, who can raise their qualifications in the field of cardiology through training in the better developed country.

Dr Sokolski will be training at the Zurich clinic for 12 months. The condition of qualification, apart from the young age of the participant, was an impressive scientific achievement, which Dr. Sokolski performed under the supervision of Prof. Piotr Ponikowski – the promoter of his PhD dissertation.
