Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) in Warsaw Prof. Michał Zasada and the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, signed an agreement on cooperation between universities and the capital city, which is ensuring the exchange of knowledge and experience in areas related to the activities of both institutions.

The document allows for extensive expert, research and didactic cooperation in line with the city’s development strategy. Thanks to it, solutions developed in the course of scientific research will be more easily implemented into practice.

The Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, said that today the city focuses primarily on environmental protection, food policy, and the development of green zones in the city, that is, on all the activities that the SGGW deals with.

An important element of joint activities will be the development and implementation of technological and social innovations, especially solutions in the field of smart cities.
