The Polish Accreditation Committee positively assessed the application of the State Higher Vocational School in Tarnów for the authorization to run the “Mechatronics” course at the first- level studies with a practical profile. It will be the 20th course of study at the Tarnów school.
Mechatronics is one of the fastest growing fields of science and technology. It uses mechanics, construction and operation of machines, electronics, IT, automation and control, modeling, design and operation of products and production processes.

The new course is complemented by a wide range of education opportunities at the Tarnów Technical Institute. Tarnów High School graduates can already study automation and robotics, electronics and telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer science and materials engineering.
