22.09.2021

The Medical Simulation Center was launched at the University of Natural Sciences and Humanities (UPH) in Siedlce. This modern training hospital for medical students was built for PLN 2.5 million.

There are seven rooms in the Simulation Center, including an intensive care room.  Students will practice nursing and medical treatments on the latest phantoms, depending on the level of studies.

The adult, senior, child, infant, newborn phantoms with an open incubator let the students train all invasive medical procedures. They allow to very realistically reflect all physiological and pathophysiological features of patients – said Dr Piotr Leszczyński, director of the Medical Simulation Center of the University of Life Sciences in Siedlce.

The project “Medical Simulation Center – a chance to improve the quality of education” was implemented under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020 co-financed by the European Social Fund.
