The Medical University of Lodz has signed a contract for the design and construction of a research laboratory on the campus of the Clinical and Didactic Center. It will be created as part of a project called “BRaIn – Research and Development Innovation at the biomedical and pharmacy campus in Lodz.”

The project provides for the creation of about 20 specialized laboratories, including the Cell Culture and In vitro Research Laboratory, Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory, Metabolomics Research Laboratory, Public Laboratory – Cell Breeding, Public Laboratory – Genomic Analysis, Public Laboratory – Protein Analysis.

The project will be completed in November 2021. Its total value is: PLN 63.3 million, of which the university’s contribution is PLN 25 million. 38.4 million is EU funding.
