The Warsaw Medical University (WUM) has announced the ranking of 100 university leaders. The list presents scientists of the highest publishing assessments in 2016-2018.

The first place in the ranking was taken by Prof. Grzegorz Opolski, head of the I Department and Cardiology Clinic of the 1st Faculty of Medicine. The second leader is Prof. Rafał Płoski, head of the Department of Medical Genetics of the 1st Faculty of Medicine, and the third one is Prof. Hanna Szajewska, head of the Department of Pediatrics, I Faculty of Medicine.

The list was prepared by the Main Library of the World Wide Web based on the analysis of the achievements of individual scientists from 2016-2018. The ranking included scholars employed at the University and co-authors of all published articles.
